In 1987 craft breweries were the exception, not the norm. But that wasn’t stopping John Wiggins. With the help of two friends, one master brewer and the town of Creemore behind him, he set up shop in a repurposed hardware store, right on the main street. And so, with a copper kettle, an open flame, and a unique ethos of brewing the right way, John and the town of Creemore started something truly special. As the decades passed and the legend grew, the small brewery at the centre of Creemore became a landmark of the area. With simplicity at its heart and the spirit of Creemore at its core, what started as a town favourite spread further afield, quickly becoming a hidden gem of Canadian brewing. In 2023, we were awarded the Best Vienna Lager in Canada by the World Beer awards. From 1987 to now, the world has changed and accelerated in ways nobody predicted. But some things will always stay true. All our beers are brewed in Creemore, in small batch and on open flame, using Creemore spring water. Our big heart spirit is brewed into every drop. |

The Tour de Dundas Gran Fondo is a community charity event offering late-summer cycling on Sunday, September 22. Five routes range from 20k to 100 miles. Our longer routes climb the Niagara escarpment then wind along paved rural roads through rolling countryside, providing up to 1,000 m of elevation gain. Lunch is served at the Taste of Dundas outdoor food court with a selection of flavourful local fare and cold craft beer. Proudly presented by the Rotary Club of Dundas, this year’s event supports Margaret’s Place Hospice and Routes Youth Centre. |

Paris to Ancaster is proud to continue our partnership with the Canadian National Cyclo-Cross team in an effort to better promote and support Cyclo-Cross in Canada. This five-year financial commitment from P2A will directly help the National Team program by offsetting the costs associated with providing mechanical and coaching support to national team athletes while at international competitions. P2A Race Director Tim Farrar says, “In a sense, P2A is simply doubling down on a year’s long commitment to provide what support we can. The National Cyclocross team athletes and staff can count on us for the next 5 seasons…at least”. |
